Hi everyone, my name is Giuseppe and I’m excited to be moving to Toronto from Italy! I am a creative professional (actor and musician) arriving in the city with a pre-approved Working Holiday Visa (WHV). This means I already hold the necessary documentation to be issued my work permit and live/work legally in Canada for 12 months. Who I Am and Lifestyle: Reliability: I am arriving with initial funds and, thanks to my visa, my immediate priority is to find a paying survival job to cover my living expenses. Cohabitation: I am a quiet, tidy, and respectful person when it comes to shared spaces and others’ needs. I appreciate a clean and calm home environment. Social Life: While I am focused on my career (accent coaching, auditions) and work during the week, I really enjoy socializing, meeting new people, and I’m always open to chatting or exploring the city together on weekends. Habits (Important Note): I am a smoker, but I am absolutely respectful of house and building rules. I smoke strictly outdoors and away from windows/doors, and I will never smoke inside the room or apartment. What I’m Looking For: I am looking for a private room in a well-connected area (ideally near the TTC—subway/streetcar) for my first 2–3 months in Toronto, with the goal of securing a long-term solution afterward. As I don’t yet have Canadian credit history, I am open to discussing the offer of several months’ rent in advance to reassure the landlord or roommates of my financial commitment.
