Description
Hello future potential roommates! π
My name is Angelah, Iβm early thirties and me and my sweet and gentle and hypoallergenic cat, Mika, are looking for an unfurnished bedroom to rent for December 15/30. Also open to finding a couple of other roommates to rent a house together with, as long as it stays within budget.
I am hoping to find somewhere on the north shore, but Vancouver area is also acceptable depending on rent.
A little about me, I work full time as a gardener. I am clean and friendy, and I live a quiet and laid back lifestyle and am looking for a non-partying long-term home for myself and my senior girl. I am working towards a future career as a somatic coach and Breathwork facilitator and will be taking some classes from home in the upcoming months so again, a mostly quieter space is preferred.
I love to cook, read, play guitar and write songs (finding roomies who are also into music would be awesome!), and enjoy yoga and meditation, and am passionate about nervous system regulation & personal development. I am very much an outdoorsy person, love all things swimming, hiking, camping, & generally frolicking about outside. π
I am an extroverted introvert and I would love to find a shared space where people are friendly, share meals, and have a sense of community within the home rather than just a bunch of people hiding in their rooms (but also wonβt be offended if our social batteries are dead and we need a little bed-rotting time π ).
My budget is $700-$1100 for an unfurnished room with utilities included. Preferably on the lower range, however if I am off the north shore and in Vancouver $900 is strongly preferred. I have a great relationship with my current and previous landlord and can provide two references if required along with proof of income and all that good stuff. No issues there!
Also, I am happy to share a space with both men and women, a mix is fine as long as itβs a communal home and the space is LGBTQIA+ friendly π
And again, my cat is hypoallergenic, I am SUPER allergic to cats and she doesnβt bother me. So allergies are not a worry, and she would love to make some new friends to cuddle with. Sheβs shy, but friendly once she gets to know you.
