I am currently a PhD candidate at UBC and expect to graduate in January 2026. I am interning with a company in Burnaby and am looking to move there to be closer to my workplace. I am presently living on campus.
Mainly looking for a private place (studio or 1-bedroom/1-bathroom), or to share a 2-bedroom apartment with only one other person.
Preferred move-in date: ideally February 1, 2026.
I am currently living in a 4-bedroom apartment on campus with undergraduate students. While I initially expected to enjoy the social aspect of shared living, there have always been one or more roommates who are not considerate (e.g., dishes left overnight in the kitchen, or clutter and large items stored in shared spaces). For this reason, I am only comfortable living with someone who does not smoke, host parties, or frequently invite guests.
