I am a very open-minded person who works on the computer almost all the time—coding here and there or working on operating system security and automation (https://github.com/alexdcodes ). For work, I am a Site Reliability Engineer working with cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes and OpenShift). I am also finishing obtaining a Cyber Security Certificate at Seneca, part time. As you can see, I love to stay busy and can be very helpful with technology, fixing computers and phones.
I am a very clean person and love to cook for myself as well as others; it’s a hobby of mine to play with flavours, such as mixology and bartending. I like to go out to events, be around people, and I am very social. When I’m alone, I stay active (go to the gym, play sports, snowboard, skateboard, etc.) or play Xbox (if I have nothing better to do). I have a cat, so it’s important that he’s welcome too—he is very quiet and usually stays close to me. I am really good with pets in general as I used to train big dogs for protection and obedience as an adolescence. (Not scared of big breeds like dobermans, German shepherds, Belgium Malinos, etc) if the other person owns dogs.
I also enjoy making music in my spare time, so if anyone plays the guitar or is in a band, I can sing. I am more than willing to help with house duties such as shopping, getting food, or anything else needed, like cutting grass in the summer, helping with cars repairs and maintenance doing oil changes, break replacements.
I was also accepted into the Canadian Forces and the Navy but decided to postpone as I wanted to get into the Air Crew. (Going to be redoing my CFAT shortly - If I pass you may be lucky enough to get a ride on a CF-18 Hornet) Boating is another activity I’m fond of (speedboats, cigar boats, and small vessels). I used to own a cottage on Lake Simcoe, so I know lots of great spots around Ontario.
