I am looking for a room to rent ongoing, for some years. At least 5 years or more. Would be ideal. So my landlord should prefer a very long term renter.

I already have another address that I live at in Chatham. With my family.

What I need is a comfortable work space! General privacy and a place that is not too noisy all the time.

I have a toddler at home. I can’t get work done at home. Because I am a content creator on YouTube.

Some days. I might have my toddler visit me in the rental room for some hours. When I.am.just doing routen computer work. And some noise is fine for a day.

I also run a painting business. So I do computer work for that too.

My current place of living does not have enough space for a good office.

Some rarer nights. I might want to sleep over at the room rental. But, generally, I just want to occupy the space during some days of the week or month. During the daytime. To do.my computer work, and/or make.my online content for my YouTube channel.

I am also on ODSP supplementing. So I will always have a guaranteed base amount of money for rent. Good for you.

Generally. You.might just see me in the room once or twice a day in a given week. Or, less than that. And usually only during some daytime hours. So the other tenancy or landlord will likely still have a lot of privacy time. Without me around at all.

About me. I am a mature fellow. A bit of a nerd. A gamer. A painter. A father and with a spouse (who has her/ our own house). I am laid back and easy to get along with. Friendly.

I won’t be using the rental room for parties. I won’t have any guests over. Unless occasionally my toddler to keep me company for a few hours in the day. Else, my spouse/ partner might pop in for 30mins or an hour. Once in a while.

If my spouse wants to stay for some hours. Or a rare overnight with me. I will first ask permission of the landlord if this is OK. On a per request bases.

I am not yet sure when I want to start renting a place. Likely sometime this year of 2026.
