Description
Hello, my name is Linden. I am a full-time student in the Bachelor of Recreation Management program at Langara College and currently work as a Recreation Leader 1 with the City of Burnaby. My background is in municipal recreation, youth programming, aquatics, and outdoor leadership, so I bring a strong sense of responsibility, organization, and respect for shared spaces.
I live with Type 1 diabetes, which means I am structured with my routines and attentive to my health. It does not impact others in the household, but it does mean I value stability, cleanliness, and a predictable environment. I also have extensive First Aid training, including advanced certifications, so I am calm and capable in emergencies. Over the summer, I plan to relocate for a seasonal position within Canada, likely in a parks or outdoor recreation role. I am career-focused and tend to keep a balanced schedule between school, work, fitness, and outdoor activities. I am respectful, quiet when needed, and communicative about shared responsibilities.
As a roommate, you can expect me to be clean, organized, and considerate. I do not host large gatherings, I am mindful of noise, and I believe in clear communication around shared expenses and chores. I value a comfortable, low-conflict living environment where everyone feels at ease.
If you are looking for a responsible, stable, and goal-oriented roommate who treats a home with care, we would likely be a good fit.
