Hi! I’m Jayden (26). I’m moving to Ottawa this spring to start a hybrid position with the Government of Canada. I’m looking for a sublet from May 1st through August 31st, as I have my own apartment lined up starting in September. I’ve lived alone in Toronto for the past five years, so I’m very reliable when it comes to rent, cleanliness, and maintaining a home.

I’m a mix of an outdoorsy and a film/music person. When I’m not working, you can usually find me hiking, fishing, or catching a game (big baseball, basketball, and soccer fan). I enjoy r&b, Indie and rap music but truly don’t care what you listen to just put me on it!

I’ll be in Montreal or Toronto most weekends visiting friends and family, so you’ll often have the place to yourself from Friday to Sunday!

• Social Style: I’m outgoing and enjoy a drink or a chat, but I’m a low-impact roommate. I don’t plan on hosting parties—just the occasional respectful friend over after work. I’ll have no issue if you have people over, as long as we all respect the space.

Since my role is hybrid, I just ask for a relatively focused environment during office hours (8:30–5:00, Mon–Fri). Outside of those hours, I’m very lenient with noise and music!

I’m very easygoing and happy to either share groceries or keep things separate. I just ask for a generally clean environment.

I’m social-drinker and weed-friendly. I don’t presently smoke myself, but I have no issue with it being in the house or others smoking as long as the place stays tidy!

I’m well-versed in house rules from my undergrad days and am looking for a chill, respectful spot to call home for the summer
