My name is Maria, and I’m an international student currently living in my university residence. I’m looking to move into a long‑term place (ideally a year or more) with someone who is friendly, clean, and values a calm, respectful home environment. I’m a very tidy and organized person, and I love shared spaces that feel cozy and welcoming.
Most weekdays I’m pretty quiet — usually studying, reading, drawing, listening to music, or binge‑watching something in my room. On weekends I’m often out with my boyfriend or friends, so I’m typically home around 40–50% of the time.
I’m exclusively looking for a female roommate, preferably Mexican or Latina, since I’d love to cook with spices and share familiar food every now and then. Someone easy‑going, communicative, and clean would be ideal.
While I don’t currently have pets with me, I’m hoping to bring my two small senior dogs (a Chihuahua and a Jack Russell) in the future. They’re gentle, quiet, and very low‑energy. I’ll take full responsibility for them, but you’re always welcome to give them affection if you’d like. Because of this, a pet‑friendly household is prefered.
I also want to be upfront about visits: my boyfriend and I take turns visiting each other, so I’m looking for a roommate who is comfortable with occasional visits and casual overnights. I completely understand that some women prefer to avoid male guests, so I’m committed to communicating openly and making sure his presence never feels intrusive. He won’t use the space as if he were a renter (other than for basic needs). So as long as you are open-minded to make an agreement we are good to go!
I really appreciate a home where we can share meals sometimes, keep common areas tidy, and communicate respectfully about chores and expectations. Creating a space that feels like the youthful dream of living independently in Toronto is important to me.
Usually I’m away for about two months in the summer to visit my family, but I will continue paying rent during that time.
