Ivy

Hi there! My name is Ivy - She/Her. I am a Peer Mentor for Eating Disorders NS, and I shall be doing a Paralegal degree either this, or next autumn. I am quite busy with with a number of volunteering commitments - most often Rainbow Refugees and the Elderberries - and academic work as well, so sometimes I am out quite a lot.

When I am at home I like to read, watch films and YouTube, play board games, and those sorts of relaxed activities. I also love to cook! And I do love a dinner party! I’m not really one for “party parties” though. I just like to have friends over for casual hangouts, meals and the like.

Household chores wise, I am rather type-A. I like to keep my place clean - and in the case of the kitchen, ready to be used by either myself or cohabitant(s). And, I would like a roommate/roommates who have the same level of consideration for those whom they share lodging with. By personal habit, if I’m cooking, then I am likely doing the washing up at the same time, as I use things. That way nothing is left to pile up and require washing before it can be used again! That all said, I am in no way a germophobe. I just like things to be nice.

Social vibes: I am pretty up for socializing with roommates if the vibes are good. And I like to surround myself with good communicators. I am pet friendly, I love cats and all reptiles and birds.

In addition to the above, we might be a good fit if you are non-smokers and don’t use drugs - yes, even cannabis. I don’t mind alcohol - within reason.
