ROOM WANTED: Downtown Vancouver, Kitsilano, Mt Pleasant.

Hi, my name is Robin and I am a guy in his mid-thirties moving to Vancouver in May from England.

What I Am Looking For:

I al searching a room in the Downtown Area, Kitsilano, or Mt Pleasant ideally. I am looking for a room (not a den) that I could rent short-term for 3-4 months initially, possibly longer term if the arrangement works well. I would like my own bathroom but this is not an essential to me just a preference. However, a double bed and my own storage is an essential , I could also consider an unfurnished room if that was the option too. The room must be LGBTQ+ friendly 🏳️‍🌈

About Me:

I am a guy in his mid-thirties from England moving to Vancouver in May. I am in the process of obtaining my nursing license in BC as I am a Registered Psychiatric Nurse and will be seeing work once this is gained. Whilst awaiting my license I do plan to travel a little in my free time and familiarise myself with Vancouver too (plus visit family on the island).

I am confident, outgoing, and friendly, and always treat others with kindness. I am respectful of other people’s space and belongings, and I like a home to be somewhere I can relax, therefore cleanliness is inportant to me.

I like to socialise but also like my own time too, so respecting each other privacy and space is something I appreciate, and whilst my partying days are over now I don’t mind if you are the type that likes to host gatherings with friends etc. (However, there is a possibility I may be working shifts so again respect of one another is important)

The room must be a room and not a converted den or solarium, I would like my own bathroom but this is not essential. My only non-negotiable is that there is storage for clothes and a double bed.

I am willing to discuss budget but be reassured I am aware of current rent prices in Vancouver after a lot of research so my expectations are realistic and can pay in advance for security too.
