Yannis

Hey!

My name is Yannis and I am a 20 year old student who just finished his first year at Uvic and will be transferring to Van for the rest of my degree. I am originally from Romania, grew up in Montreal and have been in BC for 5 years now. I speak Romanian, Russian, Spanish, French and English and am passionate about everything linguistics and travelling. I just got back from a Central America trip where I got to spend lots of time hiking and exploring different culinary scenes. I’m very outdoorsy but also love other activities such as reading, writing, cooking and trying new places around the city. I’m sociable and love meeting new people. I’ve lived with a roommate this past year and am I used to sharing common spaces.

I’d love to find a place for start of June to get settled in the city and I don’t have a set location in mind as long as it’s reasonably central and easily accessible to public transit, restaurants and cafes. I really like the Kits area or downtown ish but again very open. My budget is around $1400 for my room but willing to work around that. I will be working part-time as well. I love everything interior design and will definitely enjoy decorating a space together. If you think we’d be a good fit or have a place reach out.
