Julian Botha

I’m an introverted extrovert and a bit of a homebody when I’m not working. I enjoy cooking, art, reading, traveling, exploring, dinner parties, live music, and the occasional good glass of wine. I also have a substantial record collection that gets plenty of use.

My communication style is direct, respectful, and solution-oriented. I value open conversations, prefer addressing challenges as they arise, and generally aim for win-win outcomes. I have a strong aversion to passive aggression and a fairly low tolerance for BS, but I appreciate good banter and a sense of humour.

I enjoy clean, uncluttered living spaces, though I’m by no means a minimalist or perfectionist. My spaces tend to feel cozy and lived-in, and I’d rate my cleanliness around an 8/10. I’m a firm believer in “clean as you go” — especially in the kitchen. I don’t leave dishes overnight and appreciate the same level of courtesy in return. That said, I also understand that sometimes people need to eat and run, then clean up when they get back.
