Hi everyone! My name is Michael, I’m 26, and I’m looking for a room on Salt Spring Island for the summer (May through the end of August) while I take up work on the island. I am currently a Master’s student at UBC coming to the island to work on some Planning initiatives. Bit more details: Because of commitments on the mainland, I will be on Salt Spring for 2–3 nights per week for work and on the mainland for the remainder of the week. Room: I am looking to a single room anywhere on the island. Also happy to have roommates or take over a short term sublet. Availability: I’m looking to move in for the late-May/start of June and stay through late August. My background is in environmental restoration and landscaping. I would be very happy to contribute my skills toward restoration projects, yard maintenance, or general landscaping in exchange for slightly cheaper rent.
