HI! My name is Matt. I’m from Barrie, ON, and currently live there. I’m starting in the Acting program at Toronto Film School on July 6th, and I would like to move to Toronto for the 18 months that the program lasts, so I can make it easier to connect with others and get a feel for the city.

I am pretty flexible with sleep schedules (but if I have the choice, then I would rather stay up a little later), I also can tend to be on the noisier side as I really enjoy listening to music on a speaker, and I also make music - which can sometimes be loud when I am recording. As I am in the acting program, I also imagine I will be running lines fairly often so that may be somewhat noisy as well, but if I’m EVER being too noisy - just let me know and I’ll pipe down!

I am very active and like to work out almost every day, as well as play sports or run when there’s time. I also like to meal prep so I don’t have to spend as much time cooking (this sometimes can lead to me taking up a decent amount of fridge space - usually I aim for about 4-6 meals at a time, which fit into 1 foot by half a foot glass stackable Ikea containers)

I would consider myself to be somewhat of a neat freak to the point where ideally the main area is generally clean (idc if your room is a pigsty as long as the main area is clean and tidy and there aren’t any rodents or insects as a result of other messiness). I vacuum about once a week and clean the bathroom each time i use it - with a deep clean every week or two.

That’s pretty much all I can think of, living-wise, looking forward to finding a place to stay!
