I’m a 30-year-old researcher heading to UBC from September to early March, and I’m looking for a friendly, respectful place to call home during my stay. I’d describe myself as easy-going, clean, and considerate of shared spaces — I value a good balance between having my own quiet time to work and sharing meals, coffees or weekend plans with housemates. I’ve lived in shared apartments before and I think the best ones are built on simple things: clear communication, splitting chores fairly, and genuinely caring about the people you live with. I love cooking, going for walks/runs, and exploring the city, so I’d be happy to share recipes, hike recommendations or just a glass of wine after a long week.
