I am a quiet, respectful, and responsible person looking for a comfortable, long-term place to call home in Ottawa’s west end, preferably in areas such as Nepean, Kanata, Stittsville, Barrhaven, Carling, or Baseline.

Outside of work, I enjoy a very quiet lifestyle. I occasionally go for walks or visit my daughters, but most of my free time is spent at home using my computer, watching movies, or simply relaxing. I do not smoke, host parties, or have people over. My two dogs are my main companions—one is older and the other is still young—and caring for them is my greatest enjoyment. They are quiet, well-behaved, and we spend most of our time together.

I have no criminal record and take pride in being a reliable, respectful, and considerate tenant.

I am looking for a new home because the owner of the house where I currently live has decided to sell the property. All tenants have been asked to move out by July 31, so I am hoping to find a clean, comfortable place where my dogs and I can settle for the long term. I am not looking for anything luxurious—just a place clean and ready, basic, nothing fancy, where I can feel at home. I already have my own bed and most of what I need.

Because I have knee problems, I currently live on the main floor to avoid stairs. However, I am open to renting a basement if it is the right fit. If possible, I would appreciate a unit with its own side or separate entrance, as it provides a little more privacy and makes it easier when coming and going with my dogs, although it is not a requirement.

As I rely on a single income, I am looking for an affordable rental option. Ideally, I would like a spacious room or basement of around 220 square feet so I don’t feel cramped, but I am open to other options. My preference would be an all-inclusive rental with one parking space for my sedan.
