Maxime Leclerc

Hello, I am a 33 year old from the Quebec coutryside moving to the big city to go back to school. I would like to take this move as an opprtunity to create a friendly and open living space for myself and 1 or 2 flatmates. My perfect location would be close to McGill, or a bit further while still close to a convenient metro line.

A bit more info about me. I am introverted, generally calm, and I like things to be relaxed around me. I had a busy life working in chemistry on the old continent for a while, and I am jumping back to this side of the Atlantic to calm things down, returning to school and seeing family. My interest are mostly artistic (I enjoy painting), narrative consuming (books, theater, podcasts), sometime sprotive. I am gay, married (but moving alone to Mtl) and I aim to cultivate a fuller sense of queer community in Mtl. I would like to be purposefull in choosing a flatmate that with who it clicks enough to cultivate a supportive / elevating relationship with. At the same time I am generally busy, and I want to limit my social interactions with flatmates at chatting one goes through the idle(r) times of the day, and occasional social activities.

A bit of info on living space. I like a visually clean environment. I prefer well maintained old to new/modern, and I don’t care many styles as long as they are cohesive. The most important for me is to feel like my surroundings breathes and avoids clutter.
