Description
Hi! I’m a 32-year-old professional working in the non-profit sector and moving back to Toronto after several years working internationally. I’m friendly, easygoing, and enjoy having a good balance between socializing and having my own space. During the week, my routine is generally pretty structured between work (usually work from home), going to the gym, meal prepping, reading/binging netflix, and spending time with friends. On weekends, I enjoy exploring cafés, restaurants, parks, neighbourhood events, and making the most of the city.
As a roommate, I’m clean, considerate, and communicative. I like keeping shared spaces tidy and comfortable for everyone, and I appreciate open communication if any issues come up. I’m not a big partier and tend to keep things fairly low-key at home, though I enjoy having friends or family visit occasionally and still enjoy going out for a drink on the weekend. I’m respectful of people’s schedules, privacy, and need for downtime.
It would be great to live with someone who is open to exploring the city together, whether that’s trying a new restaurant, grabbing a drink, checking out a market, or going for walks, but there’s absolutely no pressure to be best friends. I’m equally happy living with someone who values their independence and has their own social life.
I’m totally comfortable with occasional guests and overnight visitors, and I’d hope for the same in return, as long as everyone is respectful and it’s not a super frequent occurrence.
I’m looking for a roommate who is responsible, friendly, and respectful, and who values a clean, peaceful, and welcoming home environment. Ideally, we’d share similar values around inclusivity, social justice, respect for different communities and backgrounds, and creating a home where everyone feels comfortable and supported. Open-mindedness, empathy, and consideration for others are important to me.
Location-wise, I’m ideally hoping to live somewhere in Toronto’s west end and in a walkable neighbourhood with good transit, cafés, parks, and local businesses nearby. I’m open to other areas for the right fit, but that’s generally the lifestyle and community I’m looking for.
Overall, I’m looking for a home that feels relaxed, welcoming, communicative, and easy to share.
