I’m looking to team up with a roommate to rent a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home together, as I haven’t secured a property yet.

My housing budget is CAD $1,000–1,300 per month, with utilities of approximately $75–120 per month. I’m searching within the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA), particularly Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga, or Toronto.

Ideally, I’d like a home that’s spacious enough for two people to live comfortably. I generally prefer homes that are around 800 sq. ft. or larger, as I find smaller spaces can feel a bit cramped for shared living.

My current lease ends at the end of September, so I’m looking to move around October 1st.

I’m flexible on the type of property—house, apartment, or condo. My main priorities are that it’s not a basement unit, is in a relatively safe neighbourhood, has good access to public transit and everyday amenities, and, if possible, has a living room that’s separate from the kitchen (a nice bonus, but not a requirement).

A little about me: I’m a working professional with a hybrid job, and I genuinely enjoy what I do. I’m Muslim and a non-smoker, and I’m looking to share a home with another female non-smoker.

I’m fairly quiet, respectful, and enjoy having a calm, clean, and comfortable home. I cook regularly, always clean up after myself, and would love to live with someone who also values keeping shared spaces tidy. I believe in communicating openly, respecting each other’s privacy and routines, and creating a home where we both feel comfortable.

Outside of work, I’m currently learning to swim and play tennis, which has been a fun challenge and a great way to stay active.

The home would be shared by just the two of us, so I’m hoping to find someone who is considerate, tidy, communicates well, pays bills on time, and treats the home with care. I’m open to roommates of all races and ethnicities, preferably between their mid-20s and 40s.
