Hi. I’m a very displaced Canadian! I spent the last 10 years living and working in Stockholm, Sweden. And prior I lived in Japan for 6 years. I returned to my hometown, St. John’s, NL, in October 2025 for family reasons, but work in my field has been difficult to find there, so I’m relocating to Hamilton for the fall to start work. Because my salary will fluctuate depending on the season, I am not looking to spend a lot on accommodations for the first year. I also have 2 cats that flew across the ocean with me that I need to think about. I’d rather not move into someone else’s space, but instead find someone else who would like to find a place together. I’m a creative person, and I like doing painting, print making, and crochet at home, so there might be art and craft supplies about if you live with me. I’m pretty quiet and considerate. And my cats are very loveable, but will probably act like they own the place. It’s important that if I live with someone we have similar values and respect. I’m very left leaning, so if you are anywhere near the right we might not really get along. But we can talk and see of course. I don’t smoke weed, and though I don’t care if a roommate does, just not inside. I enjoy having a drink, cooking and baking, and good music, and I can be very social. If I make friends I would like to have them over at times for food or board games. If you think we could get along please reach out!
