I am wondering if there is a unique situation out there for a man to share accommodation.

I am moving at the end of July and am currently looking at One bedroom apartments Downtown or in Osborne Village

I got to thinking, perhaps there is someone who lives in the house and would like someone else living in the house with them.

I don’t know if this is a good idea and if Someone would be interested in this idea so I’ll just put it out there. What do you think?

I am a single 64 yr old empty-nester who has two adult children that do not live in Winnipeg. (when they come to visit they don’t stay with me as they like Airbnb). I currently live in a 650 square-foot apartment in which I choose to move because it was renovated and the rent is going up a crazy amount.

Basic wants, needs and ideas:

I am thinking that this may be of interest of someone my age or older but if you have an idea please do share it!

I love gardening and I am open to negotiation with housekeeping chores and yard work.

I work full time downtown and I don’t own a car so I would need to be located in a place that has public transportation. I have owned homes in River Heights and Wolsley so I’m not afraid to travel half an hour by bus.

I am basically a boring person and quiet. My hearing is going so I watch TV with headphones and never play loud music although I have been known to use my Google Home with classical music and/or opera but again not loud nor crazy late.

I would need space for private bedroom and living space which could be private or shared. In addition to the average one-bedroom apartment I also own a stand-up freezer, bicycle, and I need a little bit of storage space.

I am not sure what other things I should say here but I am very open to having a discussion and I have to tell you I don’t do well with people who were prejudice!

I did get up criminal record check in2013 (it was clear and I have a copy) and I And willing to show it to you if we have come to terms. I would also be willing to get another one provided of course you provide one as well.
