Hi, I have a couple of extra furnished rooms in my house and am willing to take in a roommate/boarder if I found the right person. House is in Lee Ridge in Mill Woods walking distance to the Grey Nuns Hospital and Mill Woods Town Centre. 523x bus very close, 300-400m to LRT stop on new South LRT line. Major transit centre 5 minute walk away.

You would have your choice of either a smaller 8x9 main floor bedroom furnished with a double bed or a huge 12x16 basement bedroom with a queen size bed and a futon (as a loveseat). All utilities, wi-fi, use of laundry will be included. There is a large securely fenced private back yard with a huge deck.

The ideal person would be someone not into the drug or party scene who has their life in order and looking for a quiet safe place to live while they pursue their career or education. It would be a bonus if you are into eating right and trying to get fit and live a healthy lifestyle. Also you should be a dog lover.

House is non smoking (ok outside), drug free, and non party.

I’m a tradesperson (Power Engineer) who works a Monday-Friday facility maintenance job and live with a pair of Great Pyrenees brothers (littermates). I’m a non smoker, non drinker, and non drug user who is trying hard to eat right, live a healthy lifestyle and become fitter.

I undergo enhanced police checks due to the nature of my employment so am quite picky as to who I would have living here. No criminal record or criminal history please.

I don’t need someone to help pay the bills, but rather would love to have another person who is easy to get along with, share the odd meal and possibly push me towards my fitness goals.

I figure the average rent for a bedroom all in should be $500/month, but willing to knock some rent off for someone who is handy and enjoys painting, minor renos, or just general housekeeping…
