Hi there! Read everything before to send an mp please. I’m Charlotte, I’m 24 years old, I’m French and I’ve been in Calgary for 6 months. I’m here for 4 years, and I’m doing a thesis in genomics and conservation of caribou populations at the UofC. I propose you to join me in my humble apartment. I’m looking for a roommate because my partner has moved out. He is available from October 15th. If you can’t move in on that date, that’s fine, but you should know that you will have to pay from that date on.

The apartment is located in Sunalta, it’s a great area, quiet, close to the city center with the blue station at 5min and the bus 90 that takes you directly to both campuses in 10 min. The apartment is on the second floor without elevator in a quiet building. It has a balcony facing south. It has 2 bedrooms, a living room/kitchen, and a bathroom. As you can see, the main room is furnished (this is my furniture), and a bit decorated. You can of course add plants and decorations without any problem. There are elements and furniture for a cat. Unfortunately, there is no cat in this apartment, but you can bring yours with pleasure (it is not dead, it simply left with its owner, and I did not have time to take care of the furniture). I love animals, so this is a plus for me! The kitchen is well equipped, if you have extra dishes, it will always be a bonus! Concerning the proposed room, it is a little bit smaller than the second one, but it is sunny in the afternoon, and that’s nice. There is storage space integrated with a large mirror. There is no bed or other furniture than those shown on the picture. You can bring your own, or order furniture if you come from elsewhere, I can receive it! In the apartment, there are other storage units integrated in the corridor and a washing machine, which is also a dryer. The owner of the apartment will want to know you and your references first. He does not want an undergraduate student.

As a reminder the rent is 725 per month plus utilities: internet (40 CAD) and electricity (5 CAD) = 770 all inclusive. You must also advance rent, i.e. 725 CAD for the deposit.

About myself: I am a very careful person. I have already lived many times in a roommate, here in Calgary, and abroad several times. I like animals (a lot), drinking beer, playing board games (there is a free place next to the apartment), my thesis, my France.

Concerning the roommate I’m looking for: someone in my age range (22-26), who likes to laugh, chat while keeping a private space. If you like to drink beers, that’s perfect.
