Hello! I will have a room for rent in Sherwood, Beacon Heights apartments by the end of July. The room will come furnished with a single-size mattress (with a frame of course), a ceiling fan controlled by remote, and a multi-level desk, the one seen in the picture.

Alongside the room, you will get your own full-size washroom, a furnished living room common area, a kitchen with modern utilities/dishes/utensils, and a decent size balcony furnished with a patio set and an awesome barbecue for your grilling needs. Lastly, the apartment also comes equipped with an in-suite washer/ dryer, and service bills will be covered by me (internet included).

The location for this unit is great, and it keeps on getting better as new outdoor shopping centers keep on opening around the area. You will be 15 minutes away (Driving) from University of Calgary or 40 minutes away if you use public transportation. In terms of supermarkets, the apartment is around a 3-minute drive from Costco, 4-minutes from Coop, and 4 minutes from Walmart. Within a 5-minute driving radius, you can find a variety of fast-food restaurants such as Mucho Burrito, Subway, Pagano, Pho Ha (I swear it’s the best in the city), Mc Donald’s, and much more. To add on to the list, you can reach Canadian Tire, Best Buy, Sport check, and Shoppers Drug Mart with a short 3-minute drive. The community is amazing, filled with nice and diverse people, as well as a beautiful back path that takes you through small ponds and some nice scenery.

I would prefer a roommate who is organized, cleans after themselves in terms of dishes used, or clothing washed.

I am a 57 year old guy, I am looking for roommate since my son moved out and I have no use for the extra space.

A little bit more about myself: I was born in Colombia; I work in the automobile industry and during my free time I enjoy photography. I am looking for a roommate who is clean, easy going and just overall nice to live with. Would be an extra if you had some sort of occupation such as being a student or full-time worker. Still, open to any applicants!
