400 sq ft bright furnished bedroom/living room available for rent in single detached house. The room is furnished with a king size bed, bedding, 4 pillows, bedside tables, bedside lamps, curtains, 3 piece oversized leather living room furniture set, 46“ TV, electric fireplace, desk with chair, zippered wardrobe, mirror, and small metal/glass table under the mirror (pictures show two stools, these have been replaced with a small table).

The room and private bathroom are both located in the basement of the house. The room has two bright windows, one faces east and the other faces south. The last 6 photos were taken around noon showing the natural light. The bathroom is equipped with a sink, toilet, and (small) standing shower (no bathtub). The bathroom is just down the hall from the bedroom, through the laundry area. The common areas are shared with myself and include the kitchen (located on the main floor) and laundry area (in the basement).

The house is centrally located in the SE community of Ogden with quick access to Glenmore Trail, Deerfoot, and Stoney Trail. Located on a quiet lane, all of the neighbours know everyone and look out for each other. Lots of grocery stores and restaurants in the neighbouring communities of Ogden, Riverbend, Quarry Park, and close to Deerfoot Meadows. I am looking for 1 roommate that loves animals, there are 2 dogs & 4 cats in the house. They are all friendly and well behaved, but the dogs do take a bit of time to warm up to strangers. I am vegetarian, introverted, like to read and value peaceful and quiet enjoyment of my home.

Quiet, keep to myself but enjoy a good conversation or low key activities. Love animals, have the pet hair to prove it lol. Try to keep the house clean but I can be disorganized at times. Work full time Monday to Friday and enjoy my weekends to relax. I don’t smoke/vape/do drugs or party. I have an occasional glass of wine but that’s about it.

Really looking for a roomie that will be the right fit for the household, not desperate to rent it to the first person that waves money in my face :)
