Looking for a female roomie to welcome into my spacious townhouse in Patterson (due west of downtown, near Bow and Sarcee Trails). You’ll have a furnished bedroom, full bathroom, parking in the attached garage, and storage space in the basement if you need it. For a little help keeping up with housework, I am happy to reduce rent by $100-$150/mo. I’m a 45 yr old working mom. Every other week, my 2 very likeable girls (9 and 13) are here. If you show a little interest in them they will embrace you with open arms! They are both big hearted and creative. Our home overlooks a greenspace, is steps from a bike path and dog park, and is walking distance to Edworthy Park. This part of town is popular for it’s easy access to major routes and downtown. We are 3km (12min bus) from 69th St LRT station. Your room is down a hallway on it’s own, which adds some privacy. We have Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+. The Alexa device in your room can stream music (we have Amazon Unlimited), and be your personal organizer, alarm clock, etc. Your smart light will turn on and off when asked without you even needing to crawl out of bed. You are welcome to use the undeveloped basement as an art space–we do!

I’m an easy-going person, communicate well, and really want you to feel welcome here. I’m pretty organized and enjoy problem solving–I’m always keeping an eye out for ways to run the house more smoothly with less effort. I’m structured where necessary but otherwise spontaneous and creative by nature. I work with seniors, having left the corporate world long ago to find a more enjoyable path. My 13 yr old is responsible and wise beyond her years. She’s usually reading, writing or drafting up her ideas in SIMS. The 9 yr old is either creating something or glued to a screen (usually videos on how to make stuff). I am pretty devoted to my continuous growth, personally and spiritually (I teach metaphysics on the side–stuff like pratical applications of unconditional love and I need to practice what I preach). I am looking for someone who genuinely cares about what kind of person they are and how they treat others. No one is a perfect saint, I just care about the home my kids are raised in. We love reading fantasy novels together, playing board games, and doing art projects. When the kids are away I keep busy with cleaning, home improvents, and working on my metaphysics video series. I generally work days, with the occasional shift on evening/weekends.
