Room for rent in a Queer Only, alt lifestyle household. (Five bucks says you won’t find a more informative and transparent ad anywhere else.)

The physical spaces: One of the three upstairs bedrooms are available. They’re a decent size and come unfurnished. Looking for one (1) person to join us, (4 people in the house total.) Partner(s) are welcome to visit and have the occasional overnight stay.

The upstairs bathroom will be shared by 2 roomies, and another 1 which only needs the shower. (They have their own half bath on the main floor.)

There is also some unclaimed living room space that’s available, if you have furniture you’d want to put there. (Photos taken last summer.)

For the kitchen you’ll get some cupboard and drawer space just for yourself, in addition to the shared ones by the oven. Same for the fridge and pantry, some just for you, and some shared.

There is a washer and dryer on the top floor too. Both units are brand new.

There is limited storage downstairs in the utility room depending on what you want to store. Nothing to dirty though.

There is a garage, but it’s unavailable.

Rent is currently $800, which includes rent, internet, and utilities. Lease is until the end of August 2024. You will need tenant’s insurance, so make sure to budget a little extra for that. (About $20-30/month.)

The household environment: LGBTQ+ positive space, including poly, kink, and furry friendly. Everything gets talked about to make sure boundaries are respected, and roomies aren’t exposed to things they aren’t comfortable with. Anything from how spaces are used, to lack of clothing allowed. We’re pretty open here, so someone who’d thrive in that atmosphere would be ideal.

Good place for some neurodivergent folks too, depending if your habits and systems mix well with ours. That being said, folks with good hygiene and housekeeping habits are a MUST. (Seriously, I can’t stress this enough.) Also no pets unfortunately. I’ve tried, it didn’t go well. Non aquatic terrarium critters like snakes, lizards, insects, and arachnids might be fine?

There is myself, a non-binary grey-ace furry in my late 20’s. I keep to myself, but you’ll probably hear me chatting with friends through the vents, haha. I’m on the autism spectrum, so I’m very direct and equally open in communication. Also OCD, so I’m super clean and organized, and why I primarily keep to my spaces. (The mainfloor half bath, and most of the basement are mine, so I can clean it exactly to my liking without worry of roommates messing it up.)

Roomie number 2 is a shy individual living on her own for the first time. Also a furry and pretty gay. He’ll interact with ya if you’d like, but is fairly timid until they get to know you.

Roommate 3 is another furry, who works for long spells at a time and loves to cook. Pretty open and chill.
