This east Vancouver house (1st and Renfrew) offers a very unique set up – you and I share the large kitchen (gas stove!) and dining nook (washer and dryer as well), and a very large back deck, bbq, and back yard. You enter your own, private, second-floor space through a door off the kitchen that closes, giving you maximum privacy. Up the stairs is a small sitting room with a large closet suitable as a study space/reading nook/sitting room. There is also a large room for your bed, dresser, and personal belongings. I am a university professor and typically work 3 days/week at home and 2 on campus. I offer a home that is quiet, calm, and easy going. My evenings usually end at 10pm and since I sleep right off the shared kitchen, the best fit would be a person who is generally quiet in the evenings and does not cook late at night. The right person for this space is a good communicator, friendly and kind, and appreciates the value of maintaining the shared spaces for the full enjoyment of all.
