About the room
Looking for a chill roommate to join our 3-bedroom apartment in a very walkable Burnaby neighbourhood, about 35 minutes from downtown Vancouver. We’re looking for someone for April, with a possible move-in at the end of March.
The room is approximately 10 ft by 11 ft and comes with your own private bathroom. The unit has in-suite laundry, a big balcony with a nice view, and is in a new building with fully furnished common areas. Rent is $1316.66 per month (not including internet and hydro). No pets. The space is bright, clean, and comfortable, and we also have a nice, responsive landlord.
The location is super convenient: a 10-minute walk to Edmonds SkyTrain Station and the Edmonds Station bus loop, a 15-minute walk to Highgate Village (Save-On-Foods, Shoppers Drug Mart, and more), and about a 10-minute drive to Metrotown Mall. The area is very walkable with lots of nearby parks, and has easy access to transit, shops, and groceries.
Building amenities include a gym, a storage room, and a guest room for visitors.
About the roomies
We’re a young couple of three years and have been living in this space for the past two. We’re both creative, artsy people with film industry backgrounds. One of us is currently in school and the other is working. When we’re not in our rooms working or studying, you’ll usually find us watching movies, playing video games or board games, making art, or doing some kind of craft project in the common area. We aim to keep the home feeling cozy, playful, and welcoming, with a laid-back, creative vibe where everyone feels comfortable.
