It’s our own house in centretown, 4 bedrooms, currently looking to fill 3 of them with move in ASAP, as all my roommates have moved out. Location is about as good as it gets close to bank street, somerset and walkable to the downtown core area.The place is nice and large, an Edwardian home that still has some of its period character, including high ceilings. The shared spaces are: a living room (you can add your furniture to this space none of it is mine nor am I attached to it); the kitchen which is quite big and has a shared fridge, and a currently unoccupied minifridge; the basement which I use as storage but could also be a living/hangout space low-key; and the laundry room in the basement that is free and private to the home. There are 2 bathrooms in the house, a half one in the basement with a toilet and sink, and a full one on the top floor with a tub. One of the bedrooms has a private balcony, and we also have a shared backyard where with our neighbours (chillers). All the rooms fit a double bed and a desk and maybe a third secret thing give or take, and there is storage in basement as well as throughout the house. Rent is 641 per roomie/month and then we have to cover all of our utilities which is usually under 100 per roomie/month. Currently it is just me in the home, my other roomies moved onto different stages of their lives, which is why I’m looking for three rooms to fill. I’m open to single applicants, or groups of up to 3 people, just looking to get those spaces filled up. I’m a student at UO in the BFA program, an artist (the paintings the photos are mine jiji), and I work in optical. I am a woman and queer too. I think chilling is in my blood because I am Cuban, so I am not hard to get along with, but I do value good communication, mutual respect, and general cleanliness in a roommate. I wouldn’t mind a friendly relationship with my roommates but I also wouldn’t mind us being in our own worlds, as long as we have good communication in terms of house stuff going. I smoke but always outside, and am mindful of smell. I’m open to people of all kinds, as long as you think you fit into my roomie values, I’d welcome you sending me a message, we can communicate in English, French, or Spanish, your pick :)
