I am a single, young professional looking to save for a down payment! I would like to find a roommate within 30 minutes of Barrhaven as I have family there.

A little about myself: I am in the process of relocating from Toronto. I value open communication and respect. I feel that no matter the relationship, those two components are necessary. I would ideally like a roommate that can verbalize their needs and boundaries in a calm way. I feel like your home should be a haven, somewhere you can retreat to when necessary. For this reason, I am looking for someone who actively keeps drama and nonsense out of their life.

Having a tidy home is important to me. That’s not to say I am overbearing about it. Homes are to be lived in, right? I take the ‘clean as you go’ approach so things don’t typically sit around or pile up.

I would prefer one female roommate but I would consider other options based on the property.

I have no pets and I don’t tend to party but I have a vehicle so parking is necessary.

I am currently not working as I transition into the area, but I have a financial buffer to sustain the move and my time off. Even with that in mind, I intend to be employed in the area by October.
