Hi folks 😊 I’m posting in search of a roommate for my downtown apartment! I’ll write below a bit about the apartment, then what I’m looking for in a roommate, and then a bit about myself so we can find a good fit 🩷 please read the full post!

The apartment: • $1500 + wifi, which we will split (about $790, which is great for downtown!) • Less than 10 minute walk to Safeway, Save On Foods, and the train station • Balcony (on the sunny side!) 🌞 • Big bedroom + wide opening window + sliding mirror closet doors • Full kitchen access, hallway closets • You can bring whatever furniture, I want it to feel like a shared space 😊 • Card laundry (not coin!) • $50 parking spot available (I do not drive, this will be your responsibility) • 3 visitor spots available • Super cool building manager, well kept building Here’s what I’m looking for: • 20 - 26 years old • Women strongly preferred (read below, hopefully this is understood 🩷) • Ability to pay on time (employment is not fully necessary as long as you can certainly pay on time. I’ve never been late or missed rent.) • Quiet on weeknights • Tidy individual As far as roommates go, I’m hoping to find someone who can become somewhat of a friend in our shared space, rather than hiding in our bedrooms awkwardly away from each other. I personally do best with alternative people, music and art lovers, extroverts, the light hearted easy going, go with the flow kind of people. That being said, I’m not personally picky at all 🌸 Who I am: • 23 years old (24 in June!) • Alt/Goth/Punk (if you need music or live show recommendations, I’ll set you up 😉) • I have an almost two year old son so the weeknight quiet and preference for a woman roommate is not super duper negotiable. He will spend weekends with his Dad who you may cross paths with during pickup/drop off, he’s super nice so there’s no worries there 😊 • One male cat (Bingus) he is non destructive aside from cardboard boxes but does not do well with other cats • I spend a lot of time crocheting or out with friends/exploring on weekends, I love a good wine and hairdye night, and there’s usually music coming from somewhere in the apartment during the day Again I’m hoping to make this a shared space, I can’t do the hiding from each other awkwardly roommate thing lol.
