Looking for a responsible and clean roommate to join our house of young professionals. We are a diverse group of individuals with various interests. However, we are all respectful of each other, the home, my large dog and spoiled cat. It is expected you contribute to the house by completing one small, assigned chore every week. The house also follows a quiet hours system to respect everyone’s schedules. Quiet hours are 10pm - 6am, Sunday - Thursday and 11pm - 8am, Friday and Saturday.
The house is in a safe, quiet neighbourhood surrounded by parks and is only one block from Pacfic Spirit Park - perfect if you’re a runner or like nature walks! We are a 5mins drive to UBC and close to buses #7, #49, #41. There are also usually evos within walking distance in the mornings and evenings. We are a 420 friendly house, but we ask that smoking only occurs in the backyard.
The bedroom that is available is in the top floor with adjoined access to a washroom that you will share with one other individual. The room is very large, has a medium sized closet, and can come with a large dresser. Rent is $1200/month and includes utilities, wifi, smart TV in the living room, cleaning, laundry and dish detergent supplies, and toilet paper.
Roommates are all in their mid 20s to early thirties. All are respectful and considerate. They work in policy analysis, mechanical engineering, urban planning and social work. Most have demanding jobs that keep them away from home during the day. We have a total of 7 rooms. Rent can be negotiated down a few bucks in exchange for work around the house.
