About the room

I am a female in my early 20’s, looking for a female roommate, preferably also in their 20’s. The rent is 1800 not including utilities - so 900$ plus utilities. You would be taking over part of the lease because my partner is moving away for work. The lease ends on August 23rd, 2023, although I am currently interested in a renewal.

I have the master bedroom and underground parking, so price can be discussed further if you are truly interested. Amenities include:

  • dishwasher
  • in unit laundry
  • high ceilings and a skylight in the upstairs bathroom
  • view of downtown skyline (apartment faces the ally - which also helps in reducing the amount of noise)
  • immediate access to whyte ave, a grocery store and TD bank
  • bus stop right outside the front door - short bus ride to the university
  • furnished with couch, table and chairs

I am looking for a roommate who is reliable both financially. Please message me if you are interested, and we can chat to get to know each other. I can also give you a tour of the place!

About the roomies

I live on my own. I am generally an introverted person, but like to hang out with others - and I do like to go out. I like to keep my place organized and clean, so dividing up chores and staying on top of them is important to me (although am more relaxed about it during busy times and such). I also generally like the idea of minimalism (not having a ton of things), so I would like to have a roommate with similar values in that regard. I do not usually go heavy on seasonal decorations or house decor - so if that is very important to you and your style, please move on.

I also have a partner who would visit from another city for a weekend every once and awhile, and like to have friends and family over to visit.

Lastly, I am a student at UofA, currently doing my education practicum, which will take up a lot of my time within the next few months. I have a summer job that I move for in the summer, but I would continue to pay rent. You would essentially have the place to yourself for the summer!

No smoking, no pets.
