Located on the 6th. floor of a very well kept building, close to bus services and the Bayers Lake Shopping Centre, with mostly retired and very quiet residents, I have lived here for over three years. The one bedroom and private bathroom are larger than most, bright and face easterly. Furnished with a queen size bed, bed linens and towels, a t.v. set and an internet connection, a large closet and a chest of drawers, an in house washer and dryer all, are very suitable for a student or travelling sales person. There is a storage locker if required, parking outside is available at a charge of $50.00 per month. Arrangements regarding use of the kitchen and food purchases can be discussed as part of the viewing process. I would be happy to show the facilities upon receiving an interested inquiry.

Due to ever increasing rents and other expenses, rather than downsize which involves moving, I thought that having a room mate might be the way to go. I am a retired hotel manager, I live a very quiet life, I have a good sense of humour, I enjoy company and enjoy playing backgammon. I do have a friendly cat called “Nibbles” who is 5 years old and I enjoy reading, watching sports on T.V. and attending church every Sunday. I do have some health issues and at the age of 81, a youthful room mate sharing my home will certainly add to my comfort level. Honestly in words and deeds are very important to me and I would be happy to answer any and all questions that you might wish to ask!
